At the Cowboy Capital Classic in Texas :

  • Assistant trainer Chris Ferguson rode Escalante Chic to the Open Derby Reserve Championship and Int Open Derby Championship for owner Adair Reiners, LLC. This nice mare has over $38,000 in earnings.
  • Dell Hendricks rode Cee Wrangler to 3rd Place in the Open Derby for owner Adair Reiners, LLC
  • Dell also rode Starlight Xtreme to 4th place for owner Cobina Post
  • In the Ancillary Classes, congrats to these Non Pro riders on their successes:

2007 National Reining Breeders Classic
At the NRBC in Katy, Texas:

  • Dell tied for 13th place in the NRBC Open Classic aboard Starlight Xtreme (score 223) who is owned by Buz and Cobina Post of Hitchin’ Post Farms.
  • Chris Ferguson tied for 4th place in the NRBC Mare Incentive Class aboard Escalante Chic (score 220.5). This nice mare is owned by Doug Adair of Adair Reiners, LLC and they also made the NRBC Int Open Finals.

6 NRHA Futurity
At the NRHA Show in Oklahoma City:

  • Dell Hendricks was recognized during the 2006 NRHA Futurity for his service during 2006 as President of the National Reining Horse Association. Dell was presented with a commemorative President’s Buckle during Opening Ceremonies of the Friday night performance on December 1.   • Dell Hendricks made the Open Futurity Finals on Diamond Tari, owned by Adair Reiners, LLC.

2006 AQHA World Show
At the AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City:

2006 SWRHA Futurity
At the SWRHA Futurity in Ardmore, Oklahoma:

  • Assistant trainer Chris Ferguson rode Dun Dazzled Whiz (Topsail Whiz X Dun It Okie Style), owned by Dell and Terri Hendricks, to the Limited Open Futurity Championship, and also placed in the Open and Intermediate Open finals.
  • Dell Hendricks rode Hesa Heckofa Rooster for owner Jimmy Pierce to the Reserve Championship in the $1,500 Novice Horse Open Class.
  • Chris Ferguson rode Escalante Chic, owned by Adair Reiners LLC, to a score of 221.5 to win the Intermediate Open class.

At the Sandhills Slide Show in Broken Bow, Nebraska, Hendricks Reining Horses had these top placings:

  • Dell placed 2nd on Starlights Kid Sstar in the Open Futurity, a son of Starlights Wrangler, owned by Bill & Patty Fingland
  • Dell was also 4th in the Open Futurity on Starlight Xtreme, owned by Cobina Post
  • Assistant trainer Chris Ferguson won the Limited Open Futurity on Dun Dazzled Whiz, owned by Dell & Terri Hendricks
  • Chris was also 2nd in the Limited Open Futurity on Strip Lights, owned by Cobina Post.

2006 NRHA Derby
At the NRHA Derby in Oklahoma City, Hendricks Reining had these results:

  • Hesa Heckofa Rooster (Gallo Del Cielo x Shesa Heckofa Hesa), owned by Jimmy Pierce, was ridden by Dell Hendricks to the Open Finals!
  • Nimble Star (Smart Starbuck x Abbie Be Nimble) owned by the Alfred Neuberger Partnership, was ridden by Hendricks Reining Horses Assistant Trainer Martin Muehlstaetter to a tie for 21st in the Open Prelims (221.5) and an Intermediate Open finals slot.
  • Martin also rode Hollywood China Chic (Hollywood Dun It x Smart China Doll), owned by Karen Adair and Terri Hendricks, to the Intermediate Open Finals.
  • Hendricks Reining Horses Assistant Trainer Chris Ferguson rode Escalante Chic (Chic Please x Spanish Dun It) owned by Adair Reiners LLC to win third in the Limited Open Derby!
  • Mega Starlight (Starlights Wrangler x Mega Tucker) owned and ridden by Jim Hendricks, was 3rd in the Limited Non Pro Futurity earning $1,386!

2006 NRBC
At the National Reining Breeders Classic, we had these top results:

  • Dell rode Starbucks Sidekick to a finals slot, tying for 5th place with a score of 225. This nice stallion is owned by Adair Reiners, LLC / Doug Adair, and now has earnings of over $167,000!
  • Dell also made the Open Finals on Hesa Heckofa Rooster, owned by Jimmy Pierce.
  • Assistant trainer Chris Ferguson rode Escalante Chic to the Reserve Championship in the Limited Open Division of the Finals with a score of 217. This nice mare is owned by Adair Reiners, LLC / Doug Adair.
  • Chris also rode Hangten Freckles to the Limited Open finals, tying for 7th place. Owned by Adair Reiners, LLC / Doug Adair

2006 Cowboy Capital Show, Stephensville, TX

At the 2006 Cowboy Capital Show, Dell rode Escalante Chic to the Open Derby Co-Championship. This talented stallion is owned by Doug Adair/Adair Reiners, LLC of Arizona. This was the first year for the show, which was held in Stephensville, Texas.

Assistant trainer Martin Muehlstaetter and Nimble Star were 2nd in the Intermediate Open Derby and tied for 6th in the Open Derby. Nimble Star is owned by the Alfred Neuberger Partnership.

Assistant trainer Chris Ferguson and Hangten Freckles were 3rd in the Limited Open Derby and 5th in the Intermediate Open Derby. Hangten Freckles is owned by Adair Reiners, LLC of Mesa, AZ.

2005 NRHA Futurity
At the 2005 NRHA Futurity, assistant trainer Martin Muehlstaetter rode Hollywood China Chic to 4th in the Limited Open Futurity, and 15th in the Intermediate Open Futurity.

In a special ceremony during the futurity, Dell Hendricks was also honored as one of the elite NRHA $1 Million riders. You can read more here....

At the 2005 World Show, Dell Hendricks and Starbucks Sidekick marked a 220 to place 5th in the Jr Reining Finals. Starbucks Sidekick is owned by Adair Reiners, LLC.

At the Tulsa Reining Classic, we had the following accomplishments:

  • Martin Muehlstaetter and Hollywood China Chic ended up Reserve Champion in the Ltd Open Futurity and placed 4th in the Int Open Futurity.
  • Martin Muehlstaetter and Smart Boom were money earners in the Ltd Open and Int Open Futurity.
  • Chris Ferguson and Starbucks Rosy Blend were money earners in the Ltd Open Futurity.
  • James Hendricks and Mega Starlight won the Ltd Non Pro, Prime Time Ltd Non Pro, Int Non Pro, and Prime Time Int Non Pro Class.
  • Cheryl Fife and Dodge Rooster CT were money earners in the Rookie and Ltd Non Pro Classes.

2005 Fiesta In The Park
At the 2005 Fiesta In The Park in Lexington, KY, Dell Hendricks and BC Chexmate placed 6th in the Open Derby.

2005 Carrizo Reining Sparktacular
At the 2005 Sparktacular at the Lazy E in Guthrie, OK, Dell Hendricks won the Open Class Championship on Hollywood Vintage.

Jim Hendricks won the Novice Horse Non Pro Championship on Mega Starlight, sired by Starlights Wrangler.

Associate Trainer Chris Ferguson also had top finishes in the Limited Open Derby Class.


2005 NRHA Derby
At the 2005 NRHA Derby, Dell Hendricks rode Starbucks Sidekick to the Reserve Open Derby Championship, to earn $42,200 for owner Adair Reiners, LLC.

2005 NRBC
At the 2005 National Reining Breeders Classic, Dell Hendricks won the Open Classic for the 5th time. Hit The Lights, owned by Adair Reiners, LLC, carried Dell to the 2005 Championship, and in winning over $60,000 for the title, helped make Dell the NRHA's newest Million Dollar Rider!

2004 NRHA Futurity
At the 2004 National Reining Horse Association Futurity in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dell Hendricks made the Open Futurity Finals on 2 horses.

He rode Sweet N Ruf (Little Ruf Peppy x Sweet Honey Dun), owned by Adair Reiners LLC, and Memorable Affair (Major Vaquero x Coronas Affair), owned by Robert Stinner.

Congratulations also to Sally Broten on making the Non Pro Futurity Finals on Dun It By Starlight, sired by Starlights Wrangler.

Starlights Wrangler also sired Miss Starlight Jac, who was shown to a Non Pro Futurity Finals berth by Cira Baeck of Belgium.


2004 SWRHA Futurity

At the 2004 Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Dell Hendricks was 6th on Sweet N Ruf, owned by Adair Reiners.

Congrats also to Sally Broten, who rode Dun It By Starlight, to the Co-Championship in the Non Pro Futurity. Dun It By Starlight is sired by Starlights Wrangler.

From only four 3-year-olds this year by Starlights Wrangler, 2 of them are already Futurity Champions!

 

 



2004 All American Congress
At this year's Congress Open Reining Futurity, Dell made the finals on two horses. He was 14th on Dun It By Starlight, sired by Starlights Wrangler and owned by Hendricks Broten Equine Assets. Dell also was 18th on Dun It Starlike, owned by Oliver & Silke Stein.

In the Open Class, Dell showed Starbucks Sidekick, sired by Smart Starbuck, to the Reserve Championship. Starbucks Sidekick is owned by Adair Reiners, LLC.

2004 Tulsa Reining Classic
At this new marquee event, Dell rode Memorable Affair to win the Open Futurity with a score of 222.

Owned by Bob Stinner, Memorable Affair is sired by Major Vaquero and out of Coronas Affair.

 



2004 Sandhills Slide
Dell won the Sand Hills Slide Futurity in Broken Bow, Nebraska, riding BC Chexmate. The stallion is owned by Jimmy Pierce of Surf City, NC. They marked a 219 to win the event. Also, Dell placed 3rd on Dun It By Starlight who is by Starlights Wrangler.

In the Non Pro Futurity, Dell's Dad, Jim, won the event riding Mega Starlight, who is by Starlights Wrangler. With only a limited number of 3 year olds as his oldest offspring this year, Wrangler's foals are already showing his ability to sire winners!
