Building a Winning Legacy with Taris Little Vintage

Dell Hendricks was nearly as excited as the champion at the conclusion of the 2006 National Reining Horse Association Futurity. By his own reckoning, Taris Little Vintage jumpstarted Dell’s reining career and he always believed she was a great mare.
That belief was recognized, first in the show ring, where Dell rode her to win third at the 1994 NRHA Futurity and the 1995 AQHA Junior Reining World Championship and earn nearly $50,000. It has been further proven sound by her career as a producer.
Dell rode her first son, Hollywood Vintage (by Hollywood Dun It) to win the 1999 NRHA Futurity. Then, at the 2006 Futurity, Randy Paul rode her daughter, Taris Designer Genes (x Mr Boomerjac) , owned by Pat Warren, to the Open Championship, making her the first mare to produce two NRHA Futurity Open Champions.
And, to date, Taris Little Vintage foals have won over $350,000 in reining competition, with the future still bright for more to come. Dell is currently riding a 2-year-old full sister, owned by Karen Adair and Terri Hendricks.
Doug Adair bought Taris Little Vintage in April from Pat Warren’s Rancho Oso Rio and 2007 foals by both Topsail Whiz and Starlights Wrangler will ride under the Adair Reiners, LLC ownership. Now in residence at Hendricks Reining Horses, the great mare will continue to produce the champions of the future.
